Alex C. Geise 

Alex Geise is a Partner at Atchison, Barisone & Condotti and has been with the firm since March 2020. His practice focuses on municipal law, land use and housing, public contracting, public records, real property, and civil litigation. He serves as a Deputy City Attorney for the City of Santa Cruz and as Assistant General Counsel to West Bay Sanitary District, and he regularly advises public agencies on governance, housing and development, infrastructure, rates and fees, contracts, and litigation.

Mr. Geise graduated from UC Davis School of Law in 2018, where he served as an Articles Editor for the UC Davis Law Review. He also clerked for the Honorable Helen E. Williams of the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Before joining the firm, he was admitted to the State Bar of Texas and practiced in Austin at a boutique law firm representing public and private healthcare systems.

Mr. Geise was born and raised in Santa Cruz and returned home in 2020. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball and softball, and going to the beach.
