Kira Petersen

Kira Petersen joined the firm in January 2023 as a Spring Law Clerk during her last semester of law school and returned as a Law Fellow after taking the bar.

Ms. Petersen received her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA in 2020. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 2024. 

In addition to working as an extern for the Honorable Edward J. Davila of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California, she worked at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy on the complex litigation and class action team. While in school, she was a Senior Production Editor on the UC Environmental Law Journal and a member of the UC Law Moot Court Team. She was also a TA for Legal Research and Writing.

Ms. Petersen is a Santa Cruz native who returned to join ABC Law after law school. In her spare time she enjoys yoga, hiking, and trips to the farmers market.
